Our Advocacy

We shine a light on the realities facing today’s students, advocating for housing affordability, mental health access, and a greater understanding of non-traditional student needs. We lift up student voices helping communities and decision-makers better understand the challenges and resilience of today's college students.

Our Advocacy Work

Resilient Students Network believes that today’s college students deserve to be seen, understood, and supported. Many of the students we serve are non-traditional students balancing school with work, caregiving, or difficult life experiences that bring unique challenges to their education.

Through our advocacy and education efforts, we connect with community groups, stakeholders, and legislators to increase awareness of the realities students face—particularly around housing affordability and mental health access. RSN is an active member of the Collaborative Advocacy Network (CAN), a coalition of more than 160 nonprofit organizations across Bucks and Montgomery Counties working together to advance solutions that strengthen communities and improve well-being.

While RSN does not engage in lobbying or political campaigns, our role in CAN allows us to amplify student voices, share stories that build understanding, and contribute to regional efforts that support equity and opportunity for all.
